บทคัดย่อ

            การจัดกิจกรรมให้ผู้เรียนสามารถพัฒนาทักษะให้เหมาะสมกับศตวรรษที่ 21 ได้นั้น การมุ่งเน้นการเรียนรู้ไม่ได้เพียงแค่การเรียนได้จำดี แต่ต้องให้ความรู้นั้นอยู่ในตัวผู้เรียนอย่างมั่นคง กล่าวได้ว่า การจัดการเรียนการสอน ควรคำนึงถึงการคงอยู่ของความรู้ในตัวผู้เรียน ให้นานที่สุด ดังนั้นการท่องจำอาจไม่ใช่วิธีการพัฒนาผู้เรียนที่เหมาะสมในศตวรรษที่ 21 แต่การวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ แสวงหาความรู้ ด้วยตนเอง และคำนึงถึงธรรมชาติของผู้เรียน  โดยผู้สอนมีหน้าที่แนะนำ กระตุ้นให้เกิดการคิด และกิจกรรมที่ส่งผลต่อการพัฒนา การบวนการคิด  การจัดกิจกรรมการสอนแบบ 4 MAT เป็นรูปแบบการสอนที่ตระหนักถึงความแตกต่างและความถนัดในการเรียนรู้ของผู้เรียนทำให้ผู้เรียนเกิดความท้าทาย เนื่องจากเป็นกระบวนการคิดที่สอดคล้องกับการทำงานของสมอง เป็นการเรียนรู้โดยธรรมชาติส่งผลให้นักเรียนได้พัฒนาความสามารถเต็มตามศักยภาพ กระตุ้นการทำงานของสมองซีกซ้าย และซีกขวา รวมทั้งตอบสนองความถนัดและพัฒนาจุดอ่อนของผู้เรียนควบคู่กันไป นอกจากการพัฒนาทางสมอง การพัฒนาทักษะการทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น หรือการปฏิสัมพันธ์กับผู้อื่นย่อมเป็นทักษะสำคัญอีกประการหนึ่ง จึงต้องมีการเรียนแบบช่วยเหลือกัน กระบวนการการเรียนรู้แบบร่วมมือร่วมใจ จะสามารถมีมุมมองด้านทักษะการปฏิสัมพันธ์ในกลุ่ม โดยการพัฒนากระบวนการเรียนรู้ความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกระหว่างสมาชิก ที่ต้องมีความรับผิดชอบต่อตนเอง และ รับผิดชอบร่วมกับสมาชิกด้วยกัน เพราะสมาชิกจะมีความสามารถที่ต่างกันและบทบาทหน้าที่ต่างกัน ด้วยกระบวนการจัดการกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนที่บูรณาการรูปแบบให้แก่ผู้เรียนไปพร้อมกัน จะสามารถทำให้ผู้เรียนพัฒนาตนเองทั้งด้านความรู้ให้มีความคงทนและการพัฒนาทางด้านทักษะทางสังคมไปพร้อมกัน และก่อให้เกิดทักษะที่เป็น Soft Skill ซึ่งเป็นทักษะที่สำคัญในศตวรรษที่ 21 เป็นคนดี เก่ง และมีคุณภาพตามเป้าหมายของการพัฒนาประเทศ

                                                 Abstract

Organizing activities that allow learners to develop the 21st century skills should not only focus on learning for the content knowledge which previously expected students’ ability of memorization, but the persistence of knowledge in the learner should be highlighted on analyzing, synthesizing, and self-directed learning by considering nature of the learner. The instructor is to introduce and motivate the thinking by providing activities that contributes to the development of the thinking process.         The 4 MAT recognizes the background differences and learning aptitude of the learners. The activities will challenge the learners to achieve the learning goals which is thinking process that corresponds to the natural learning process in the brain and allows students to develop their abilities to their fullest potential. Both left and right brain hemispheres are stimulated; furthermore, the learning responds to the development of aptitude and improve the weakness of the learners simultaneously. Apart from brain development, skills for working in team or interpersonal interaction is essential. Therefore, learning activities must be designed as cooperative learning process which requires group interaction skills. The learners will develop positive relationships between members; responsibility for themselves and the group since they have different abilities and roles in the assigned tasks. With the integrated process of teaching and learning activities, it will enable learners to develop themselves both in knowledge and to develop social skills at the same time. The soft skills are important in the 21st century as expected by the goal of the national development.
